MOFRA-Double Diamonds

The double intersecting diamond logo is that of MOFRA beginning in 1970. MOFRA became EUROMANUFACTURE. Alamiro Mainardi started MOFRA in 1960's in Brescia, Italy and soon, with his brother, expanded into distribution to become EUROMANUFACTURE  of the double diamond logo. When the first Mainardi was joined by his brother, they created the two Diamond logo and called their company Euromanufacture (not Euroarms). This suggests the 1970/71 years as the beginning of Euromanufacture and the end of MOFRA. The Double Diamond logo started around 1970 and the MOFRA markings then disappeared.

In the double diamond logo, there was one diamond for each brother. According to the folks at Palmetto, the buyer of Euromanufacture, the acronym of the Euromanufacture company logo is also represented by the two diamonds intersecting one another, symbolizing the letters "EIE" as well. MOFRA di Mainardi A. was the actual maker of the revolvers and EUROMANUFACTURE was the distribution company that distributed their arms. EIE distributed more than 75 models of black powder weapons from other different manufacturers as well like Palmetto and other makers which is why we see EIE and/or double diamond marked revolvers with other stamps on them. Euromanufacture (EIE) was eventually bought out by Palmetto circa 1980.
