RAG-RIGARMI

Rigarmi revolvers were manufactured by Guerrino Galesi in Brescia Italy. RIGARMI is the contraction of RINO GALESI ARMI (RAG) and the maker stamp is usually on the left side of the gun to the left of the wedge with Rigarmi in letters on the barrel. The logo is a stylized set of RAG letters, the founder's R and G initials set higher than the Armi "A" slightly below and between the other 2 letters.

What is now known as RigArmi was originally founded by Galesi Giuseppe Nicola, and was initially named Galesi F.lli, (Galesi Brothers), though it later became known as Armi Galesi (AG) or Industria Armi Galesi (IAG). They began to produce their pistols in 1914, following Italy's entry into World War I. Galesi Arms moved production from Trento to Collebeato, located in Brescia, beginning in the year 1921.

The majority of their replica revolvers were manufactured from 1960 to 1970, and AG/IAG ceased business in 1991.  Revolvers continued to be produced what became the company RAG  "Rigarmi", which was opened by Guerrino (Rino) Galesi, one of the sons of the company's founder. Rigarmi is still in operation today.
