A. Uberti, Srl. was established in 1959. From 1959 to 1963 Navy Arms Co. imported Uberti made firearms. Those revolvers will be marked with GU, for Gregorelli and Uberti. Beginning in 1963 Aldo Uberti will sign his weapons with the logo of the brand, which is the same today as it was from the beginning: an octagonal gun barrel seen from the front showing the lands and grooves with the letter U in the middle, often at the same location as Colt stamped Colt's Patent" on their revolvers. Note that the name of the mark is also engraved in letters under the lever of the rammer or on the top of the barrel according to the time of manufacture. When Uberti marked the revolvers for distribution they simply strike their logo on the frame of the weapon and mark the barrel with the distributor's name, like Navy Arms Co.

Today Uberti is owned by Beretta and their United States Distribution center is at Stoeger in Maryland.
